Since November 1986, BMW 3 series cars have been in production in
Regensburg, one of Germany's oldest and most beautiful cities,
situated on the banks of the Danaube and the former capital of Bavaria
and of the German Nation of the Holy Roman Empire.
Regensburg und river Donau.
Regensburg is located about 110Km north-east-north from Munich, which lies across the
river of Donau. This old city made once a major role at the period of 4th Cruseiders.
The BMW factory is located 5Km east from the city center of Regensburg, take exit 102
of Autobahn 3(E-56, 93 via 9 from Munich), and follow the BMW factory sign.
This BMW Regensburg factory makes all 3-series of automobile.
The security is very high, so you must make reservation prior to go there.
To enter the factory, wearing helmet and cross four to five doors from outside to see
the inside. Especiouslly, painting house is prohibited to all non-worker.
