North American XB-70 Valkyrie

XB-70 the fastest-flying aircraft ever built was also the highest.
The first flight was on Sep. 21 1964
using the Six J-93 Turbo Jet cluster.
The maximum speed by Mach 3 about 1Km/second. WOW! That's fantastic!
The wing tips are bent downward at a high cruising speed .
There were only two XB-70 built. No.2 crushed in a mid-air collision.
No.1 is on display at USAF museum at Dayton, OHIO.

Lockheed SR-71 Black Bird

SR-71 is the fastest spy aircraft ever built.
The body was constructed from Titanium against
high temperature from over Mach 3 speed.
Two J-58 turbojets made supersonic cruising.

Avro CF-105 Arrow

CF-105 Arrow was thought to be a shield of Canada, but the
project was cancelled, so, all five of them are scrapped.
First flight at Mar. 25 1958.

Bell X-1

Bell X-1 is the world first sound barrier broker
powered by four rocket engines, at Oct. 14 1947, by Chuck Yeager.

This Islander was serviced between Sado Island and Niigata.

RAC will terminate this BN-2 Islander flight service between Ishigaki and Hateruma.
This pilot will retire Nov. 2007.


Kyokushin airlines which conects between Niigata and Sado will terminate it's operation

JA8771 was built at Aug. 01, 1970, retired at Aug. 31, 2005.

Lockheed L-1011 Tristar

Tristar was named by mines three high-bypassed Turbo Jet.
This is my most favorite aircraft, especially the line of
S-duct much different from DC-10/MD-11.
The three Rolls-Royce three-axis turbo fun jets make impressive noise.

Ilyushin-62

Ilyushin-62 was main aircraft of Aeroflot, the Russian air transporter.
The four turbo-jet located at rear (like DC-9) makes loud noise!
But the noise makes me high!
I visited Vradivostok (prohibited city) in the August of 1979,
due to divert from Khabarovsk. I was confined in a room at
the head officer of the airport for a while, it was rare experience.

AirBus A-340

A-340 is the long-range aircraft with four CFM-56 engines.
The seat arrangement is 2-4-2, so, it's comfortable from 3-5-3
arrangements, which commonly see by B-747 configuration.

Boeing 747-SR

B-747SR was common in the Japanese air route.
The maximum seats are 566.
This photograph was JA8119 taken at Chitose (Sapporo) airport,
which crashed at Osutakayama, Gunnma Pref. Japan at Aug. 12 1985.
The reason of crush was thought to be loss of all controls
because of the loss of tail segment due to miss repair.

L-2000, the competitor of B-2707 from Lockheed.
When I was childhood, I could travel around the world
by such supersonic aircraft in 21st century, but it wouldn't
come true now. I am very disappointed about that.
